The county is divided into 12 districts and in each of them there are several attractions. For example, the whole town of Kutná Hora is unique and belongs to UNESCO monuments, you can find the Gothic fortress of Semes, the Sázava monastery, the Constance and the All Saints' cemetery, Barbora, the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary or, for example, a Gothic stone fountain.
There are countless castles and castles in the Central Bohemian region. From castles such as: Loučeň, Nelahozeves, Konopiště, Kačina, Dobříč, Průhonice, Březnice, Mělník. The castles are: Karlštejn, Křivoklát, Český Šternberk, Kokořín and Točník.
At Příbram we find St. Wenceslas Oak, one of the most important memorial trees in the Czech Republic.
Among the natural sights are Sadská Lake, Lake Lhota or the most famous quarry - Lom Great America. And also the Slapy water reservoir.
Even in this region, we can not forget the horrors of World War II and therefore we can find in the town Lidice, a natural memorial with a preserved atmosphere and a small museum.
Among the protected landscape areas are Křivoklátsko, Kokořínsko, Bohemian Paradise and Bohemian Karst.
Transportation: You can use the Prague Airport to get to Central Bohemia and you can easily reach it by train from Hlavní nádraží, but you can also use smaller stations such as Smíchovské nádraží, where you can find also the bus station or Masarykovo nádraží. You can also use long-distance buses that run from Florenc Central Bus Station or Andel or Holešovice.
