Královéhradecký kraj

In this region we can find near the Jičín Prachov Rocks, a sandstone sandstone formation between the protected landscape areas or the beautiful Grandmother's valley in České Skalice. Another natural sight is Broumovské stěny. Another national nature reserve is the Adrspach-Teplice Rocks, where climbing is possible.

Important castles include Dětenice, Nové Město nad Metují, Hrádek u Hranice or Opočno. Among the castles that you should visit include Pecka, Kost, Potštejn and Opočno.

The part of Bohemian Paradise, whose beauty is worth admiring in the spring and summer, when everything blooms, reaches the region. Not far from Špindlerův Mlýn there is the Elbe Waterfall, which you will not see much in the Czech Republic, and the second waterfall is the Pančavský Waterfall.

If you go to the Hradec Králové Region in winter, you will have beautiful slopes in the Krkonoše Mountains, where is also the highest mountain Bohemia - Snezka, where you can visit all the seasons. Medvedin, Montenegro and Mladé Buky are also available.

For animal lovers there is a possibility to visit the zoo in Dvůr Králové, where you can enjoy a unique safari ride.

Transportation: The region can be reached either from the airport in Pardubice, the city in the neighboring region, or from the airport in Prague, but there is a much longer journey by train or by bus. What you choose is just for you.
